1.Scope
1.1 Accordance
The specification is issued pursuant to paragraph 1 of Article 42 of the Telecommunications Acts.
1.2 Application Scope
This specification applies to digital low tier radio terminal (Personal Access Communications System, PACS) within the operating frequency range from 1895 ~ 1900MHz and 1975 ~1980MHz.
1.3 Contents and Reference
The normative reference of the test items, conformance requirement, method of tests and relevant requirements for use in the specifications of Personal Access Communications System (PACS) are based on the ANSI J-STD-014-98, J-STD-021-1996, and J-STD-022-1996. These limits have been chosen to comply with the international standards for a complete technical regulation.

4. Frequency Range
4.1 Test purpose
To verify that SU shall comply with the required operating frequency range.
4.2 Conformance requirement
Operating frequency range:
1895~1900 MHz (Tx);
1975~1980 MHz (Rx)
Operating frequency range shall be within 1850+n×0.1MHz (n=450 to 499) where n is the Absolute Radio Frequency Channel Number(ARFCN)and the channel space is 300KHz.(Refer to ANSI J-STD-014-1998, §4.2 Frequency Parameters)
4.3 Method of measurement
The Applicant shall submit the Declaration Of Conformity.

7. Duplex Spacing
7.1 Test purpose
To verify that when SU is allocated a channel, the duplex space between carrier frequency of Tx and Rx shall be 80MHz to avoid interfering between its transmitter and receiver.
7.2 Conformance requirement
The Applicant shall submit the Declaration Of Conformity.
7.3 Method of measurement
The Applicant shall submit the Declaration Of Conformity.
7.4 Test requirement
The Applicant shall submit the Declaration Of Conformity.

8. Channel Spacing
8.1 Test purpose
To verify that when SU is allocated a channel, the carrier channel space is 300KHz to avoid interfering from adjacent channels.
8.2 Conformance requirement
The Applicant shall submit the Declaration Of Conformity for the assigned channel with the carrier channel space is 300KHz.(Refer to ANSI J-STD-021-1998 §4.2 Frequency Parameters)
8.3 Method of measurement
The Applicant shall submit the Declaration Of Conformity.
